Welcome to AS!  I'm sorry for what had happened to you.  Here you will find everyone is supportive and understanding.  There is no judgement here. You're not alone and you will find everyone very helpful.  Take your time getting to know the forums. Say as much or as little as you like.  Wishing you the very best with your healing journey.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for trauma you have endured, but you have found a very supportive site. SA can be very difficult to understand, but only because it is hard to understand monsters who have no problem hurting others for their own sick, selfish reasons. You did nothing wrong, I hope you realize that. You will find the members here are very understanding and can relate to all the confused, hurtful feelings you have. I do wish you the best as you being your path of healing.

Hi @Sapphira.  Welcome to After Silence.  I am so sorry that you've been through sexual assault.  Nobody deserves that kind of pain and trauma.  I think you'll find AS to be a place of healing and support and community.

@MeBeMary You're absolutely right about SA being hard to understand. That's one of my biggest struggles because I sometimes feel stuck, but I realise now the more I understand the better I can deal with things.
