Hi I'm new here.  I guess I'm just looking for support from people who understand.  I used to have more people around me that I could talk to that understood, but that support system is no more as life happened.  I should be used to dealing with this on my own, but I'm really tired of trying to navigate this on my own.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for the trauma you have experienced and the lost of your support system. It is not easy handling this alone, I know, as before I came here that is how I lived. There is a excellent support system here, as there are many understanding and kind members. You are not alone, nor should you have to be. It takes courage to reach out. I wish you the best as you walk this path of healing.

Hi Lost! Welcome to AS! I'm new here too. I'm sorry for the trauma you have gone through and the lack of support you have received so far. I hope that you will find the people at AS as warm and helpful as I have. I've been navigating through the forums trying to find my place and getting to know things. I'm slowly coming out of my shell. I think you'll find that AS is a great support system and that you are no longer alone in your struggles on your journey to heal. Safe *hugs* if ok.
