Greetings all,

I've been floating around the messegeboards since 1999, there are some names I recognize here. I come to you after leaving another board after being a moderator for 3 years. It was time to find a new home and I am glad an old friend recommended me here.

A little bit about myself. I am a 28 year old woman who is a survivor of multiple assaults, the first being when I was 10 years old. I am also a survivor of physical assault at the hands of my parents up until the age of 20. I'm still on my healing journey and there are times I honestly doubt whether or not I will complete it or not within my lifetime.

On the lighter side, I am engaged to a beautiful woman and our ceremony is next year. In my picture, I am the one in the middle and the two girls are her children, so my future step-children. A great deal of my healing journey includes them now.

So, again here I am. If anyone has anything they would like to know or so forth, please feel free to ask.
