Hi everyone. This is my first contact with other survivors. I am a little nervous. It is nice to see that there are people out there who have similar situations. Maybe that came out wrong. I think what I am trying to say is that finding this website made me feel like I am not so alone. Thank you.

Hi treegirl,

My name is Lynn, and I am a member of the New Member Support Team. I just wanted to take the time to say welcome to After Silence. I am sorry for what you have gone through. I felt very alone and isolated before I came here too. It was very eye-opening. I never realized that this type of abuse was so common.

I hope that you find comfort and support here, and I definitely know that you will find others who understand you here. I am glad that you have joined with us and look forward to getting to know you. If you need anything or have questions about the boards or how something works, please send me a personal message.
