Hi. From Julia.

Um, hi. This is Julia, one of Lucy's Insiders. I've never posted on a blog before , except by reblogging on tumblr. I'm more of a poet and artist, but lately things have been intense for us, so I want to try to write some of my thoughts down. Tomorrow is the anniversary of one of our SAs. It was our neighbor and I was fronting at the time, so I remember it the most. I feel so pissed when I think about what he did to us!!!!! It makes me want to hurt myself or someone else. I won't, because we "don't do that anymore", but I really really want to! Lucy doesn't even know what happened. She only knows that it DID happen. I can talk to Rain about it (she's another Insider) but she's managing a lot right now, so I don't want to bother her. I feel so useless and invisible. This sucks!!!!!!!!

Thanks for listening,

Julia

Hi Julia, it's Sarah. Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! I hope it helps you as much as it has been helping me.

I'm sorry about the anniversary. That's always hard. I'm usually the one protecting the others during those times. Angie can relate to how you feel - the urges to hurt yourself. I hope that with the support of the others, you can overcome this feeling.

It's just my opinion, but if Rain is a protector (sorry if I'm wrong if she's not one), taking care of things is what she does. If she feels she has too much on her plate, she will let you know and hopefully be able to point you in the right direction. Maybe a helpline? I don't know if you've tried those before but it helped Angie and she was able to calm down and feel able to manage.

Also, using poetry and your artistic talent to communicate how you feel may help you release the urges.

I guess I wrote you a novel, but I do hope this helps.

Take care,

Sarah

Yes, Rain is an internal protector. She's just dealing with a lot of stress and pain from the little ones right now, who have been very triggered lately because of some stuff going on with Lucy's family. I'm also a protector, but I'm a more aggressive/assertive protector, so sometimes it feels like people forget about me, or think I'm "the strong one." I am strong, but there are times I need help, too. I'm hoping to buy a new sketch book soon so I can start drawing again and I'm working on a collage right now, so that might help. Thanks for commenting! And thanks for the welcome!

Hi, Julia. Skye here

I'm kind of running on fumes, but wanted to say hi.

And by the by, I think the blog is a great place for poetry. Sometimes there's just no way to say what you need to in prose. I figure that so long as it fits within AS guidelines, pretty much anything goes in the blogs. Or at least, in mine!

Nice to meet you, and hopefully my next comment will be a bit more coherent.

Peace out,

Skye
