Hi,
My name is ann. I came over from tear in your hand. I never posted there though. I do see a few people here ,I have met on another site too. Thought I would say hi .I am almost 48 years old. Can't believe that....Anyway...I have two girls ,18 and almost 20. I have been married 21 years.
I have only been speaking about my abuse on line for about a month now. I am amazed how much help it is to meet people who offer such care ,and support.
I feel speaking out has helped me. I only would talk to my t about my abuse. I did not know these type of place's even existed, and how wonderful they are.
My story isn't very easy to write ,nor easy to listen too. I was abused as a child
by family and then given as a gift to whoever..... For well.....I am in the healing process, and I am glad to be here ,look forward to getting to know this group of people... take care......ann

welcome to the group, we are glad you found us
I agree with you, even though talking online cannot be considered a substitute for therapy, it has been an invaluable help for me in the last year.
I'm sorry for what you had to go through and I wish you all the best in your healing process.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better
Hugs,
Verena
