Hello everyone. This is my first post here, but not my first survivor forum journey. Finding a good, supportive and active forum can be a challenge. I'm hoping I have here.

I'm a 42 year old male, married with young kids and just seeking to spend the rest of my days in peace. I am a survivor of severe childhood sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking. Although this happened many years ago, I still struggle with PTSD and other side effects.

My situation has improved with a great deal of personal effort, the support of my family and the help of a great therapist. I have been in trauma therapy for over two years, with a lot of EMDR sessions under my belt. EMDR has been a huge help in my recovery, and I highly recommend it for all sexual trauma survivors.

I look forward to meeting other members, and please feel free to message or ask questions.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's very comforting to know I have people who will listen and respond here. I've shared all of my experiences and talk about the repercussions with my wife, but because we work different shifts and don't see each other much, I'm often feeling lacking in support.

I will talk more, but prefer to use the private threads from now on.

I don't post much at Pink Cross either, but it's one of very few sites that I feel comfortable with in talking about my under-age porn experiences and prostitution. Shelley does wonderful work rescuing lost souls like mine was. I'm grateful for Pink Cross, and finding even more support here.
