New And Scared

hi, im 22 and here for the first time. ive been in treatment for depression and schizo affective disorder for almost 8 years now but never really touched on the other stuff..........

i have a really hard time talking about what happened to me when i was young and was recently told that i sound like a five year old when i do......makes sense in a way i guess.....

im a student, computer networking and security in new york city. ive been living alone for over three years. i am visually impaired, legally blind really......

letting things out here and sharing and accepting help will be really hard for me, but its what i need.........i told my teacher about this stuff last night and he says i need to be with other survivors, so here i am..........

i have something to post in almost all of the different forums, i hope its ok..........i have a feeling that once i start writing it wont stop.

im really scared to be taking this step so plz be kind to me............

My name is Lynn, and I am a member of the New Member Support Team. I just wanted to take the time to say welcome to After Silence. I am sorry for what you have gone through. You mentioned sounding like a child when you describe your experiences. It reminds me of a little of the writing that I have done on occasion. When I was really working on the emotion, it seemed that I would slip back into that time.
