Incurable Disease
My disappointment with the world's
Selfishness
Is a constant battle going unheard.
Must
Such a widespread virus to exist
Always be
With such a sardonic twist,
Forgiven
Every time? Indeed sanity requires it,
You know,
Our pointless bitterness must be quit,
Because
It will eat away at our spirits.
There is
Not an ear in sight that wants to hear it,
No
But this pandemic does not have a prayer.
Hope of
Healing foregone, selfishness does not bear
A cure.
