Welcome to AS. I am sorry for the trauma that brings you here, but this site is very supportive and people are so kind. You are right, healing is not easy, but it is possible. The key is not to give up and when you are ready, reach out to others. There is no timeline, so my advice is just get comfortable with the site, and take your time. You have some new friends now and we are here for you.

I am also new here and am already feeling hopeful after starting here. I haven't been on very much except at first, but hope this site as well as my therapist I'm going to start seeing this week can help me through this and heal. I've been living with my pain for almost 30 years before I finally told someone and that really helped ease my burden. I'm looking forward to my journey. Best of luck.
