Hi all,

Not sure where to start with this. But I'll give it a bash.

I was sexually abused 10 years ago by my step-dad. I suffer from flashbacks, nightmares and I have developed quite severe depression which has resulted in my trying to take my own life.

Hope to make lots of new friends here and also hope I can be of help and support to those who have suffered as well.

Welcome to Aftersilence. That was a great start.

I'm sorry for what happened. I know it's not easy. I went through years and years of depression and to still do sometimes. BUt you know it does get better sometimes it's just hard to see that.

I hope you find the support you are looking for on here.
