Back On The Boards!

Hi All,

I originally joined after silence when I was 15, 3 years ago... I haven't really been on in a while, mainly because I was busy graduating from high school and such. My family life has definetly not improved, but I do believe that I have grown as a person, and learned that I can't change my parents. And well.. that my abuser( my brother) is just a really sick individual.

But now, I'm 18, and I am sophomore at the University of Texas and life is great. I am currently double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a minor in philosophy. I plan on getting my bachelor's degree and then heading up north to Chicago for my Masters, and then off to law school! I was also offered an internship at a law firm this summer( which is pretty exciting for my first year!!)And I'm in a great relationship with my boyfriend Michael( who is 22). He is very supportive in all that I do, and a great person to be around! We have known each other for 11 years, and I love him very much!

So, I can't really complain about much... of course I have every day stresses and a couple of run-ins with my family members , but for the most part my life is coming along wonderfully!!

Anyway, I just wanted to say I am back on the boards!
