Hello, I am new to this site and new to the understanding and discovery of my abuse. This is a really frightening experience because i have never been in this type of situation and never viewed my situations as abuse. I really appreciate this site for being available to those of us who need to go somewhere and talk about things and release our feelings in a safe environment. I am learning that that is really important when dealing with any type of recovery. I am really trying to wrap my head around how to view myself now that things have come to light.
