Hi ya'll! I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.

My name is Ashley. I am a 22 y/o lesbian. I live in North Carolina with my partner, our 4year old, and our 7week old boys, and our 4 cats. I've just gone back to college for journalism.

I was a member of a teen support forum about 8 years ago and it was so theraputic, it really helped me through a very hard time in my life.

I didn't join here so much to help myself. I really feel like I'm at an OK place in my life right now, and for the first time I feel in a place where I could possibly do others some good. Its taken me a very long time to get here, and I'm not saying that every day is easy... However, I truly feel there must be some reason that I've gone through all I have. For my own sanity, I feel like my past must be used for some good otherwise what was the point in surviving all this time.

I look so forward to meeting you all and getting to know you better. I've looked around the site and you all seem like such kind and amazing people. It is so important in life to have good friends around you and a strong support circle. I just hope you guys don't mind letting me in yours.
