  1. Hi Debbie, I can totally empathise with the flashback stuff, and it does feel like its happening now, when its been dissociated. You would think that with that much time it would just go away, but its locked in there, till we are safe enough and strong enough to feel it. Be gentle, and take it slowly, and you can get through it, you already did once, and now you have support to heal from it. cas
  2. Hi Patty, it is scary posting Im glad you were able to take the plunge. I am new here to, but not new to therapy and working on all this stuff. I have been trying to do too much by myself, and I tell ya, its not the best way. Good luck and I look forward to getting to know you and the many others here too. Cas

    Hello

Hi everyone, I'm cas and Im looking for a place to be supportive and also find support in my journey to healing. Years ago I spent time at a survivors site, and it was very helpful and its been a long time since I have used the computer for this type of support, and I have found it very isolating and lonely. I think there is something about talking with, or just reading other surivors stories, struggles and triumpths that touch my heart in a way that nothing else really does. I am looking forward to meeting new people and finding others to walk with me on this path, as it really bites doing
