hiya all im new 2 this my name is jet iwas abused for 13yrs by 2 uncles and a couson. i feel so lost and empty all the time and dont know where 2 turn 2 to. my dad keeps tellin me that im lettin it ruin my life and that i need 2 put it behind me. how can i when my head is totaly messed up with it xxx

I'm sorry for what you've been through but really glad that you've found us. Often people who have not experienced it wonder why we can't just 'put it behind us' but people here understand that it isn't that easy and the healing process takes a long time. Also, do you see a counsellor? That's a big and scary step but it is definitely helpful.
