I am a survivor of sexual abuse by a neighborhood police officer. I was twelve and he made my familys life a living hell until I backed off. It actually took me twentyfive years to start realizing why I was self destructive. I want to be able to teach my daughter the dangers of sexual abuse that my mother didn't teach me without scaring her to death. Laureen

Educating our children about the threat of sexual abuse and violence is a very good thing for a parent to do, and I think you're very wise for doing this, I hope that you find some of the resources available on this site helpful in doing this
