Thanks everyone! It's been hard for me in terms of healing. I repressed memories for a year and at first I had no idea why I was having strong sudden flashbacks. I was 15 when the flashbacks started and I was 20 by the time I figured out exactly what had happened. It took me 5 years after that to be able to tell someone what happened in a little more details and last year I finally felt comfortable enough to confide in a friend of my mom's about the details of what happened. I felt a little better after that. Recently, what happened sunk into my mind and I realized I had been a CSA victim.

Hi, This is my first time here. I'm a survivor of childhood abuse....I've been a survivor for the past 13 years and I'm finally starting to heal. Ayanna
