I'm working on talking to in my inner child more nicely. A few weeks ago, I woke up feeling heartbroken that I've been mean to her. I was angry with my inner child for not being able to process the trauma at that age. I had a dream that I was yelling at my inner child, saying "Why did you wait to process this, you should have handled it. You're ruining my adult life!" She was crying. Little me was crying & I suddenly felt an overwhelming sadness. Ever since, I've vowed to speak with her more nicely and offer love, understanding and compassion. It's a work in progress.

Hello, I'm a 30y/o female from the Bay Area, California. I'd first just like to send love and healing to everyone here. I work as an analyst, & I generally try to understand things with the mind & not the heart, which hasn't proven very useful at times. I have a 13 y/o daughter who I love so deeply.
