You are brave for being here even if you're not sure how to talk about it yet. I broke the silence and began to deal with the trauma only 5 weeks ago, even though it has been 12 years since it happened, and 8 years since I broke free of the abuse and complete self-destruction that followed. I never really looked back. I thought it was a time past me, or rather, assumed I had 'dealt and moved on'. All of the sudden, it came out of nowhere, just like your bricks. So, I feel you. I do. And I know a lot of others do too. I'm sorry that this happened in your life and that you have to revisit it aft
