Hi, I wanted to reply to your post. Although you say that these girls were willing. They were still underage hence, the laws we have to *try* to protect minors. I am glad to hear he is going to jail for his crimes. Imo, the criminal justice system lets far too many pedophiles and rapists slip through the cracks.Also, sicne he was hyper-sexual as age twelve I wonder if he was abused or simply a young sociopath. Nonetheless, I can identify with your feelings. I was sexually abused by a family friend. I was seven and told my mother following him fondling me. I can hear her words ion my head like

Hi Everyone, I would like to take a moment to share a few things about myself. I am a thirty year old single female who is childless by choice. I am in the social work field as an MSW working with adolescent girls. I am also a survivor of abuse. I say survivor because "victim" makes me feel powerless. I have been in therapy for quite some time i.e., nine years. I am unsure if this is an appropriate forum to go into any details about what happened, etc. So, I will be extra cautious not to trigger anyone. My father past away not so long ago so, I have been dealing with that on top of the obvio
