welcome, Since I started coming here I have found that a lot of people have the same fear and feelings that I do. Im sure you will find some support here.

It amazes me that Im not alone in the way I feel about my abuse. It's hard but it seems like we are all working through it together.

I've just recently remembered a rape that I deeply buried in my memory, and it seems like it just happened. So I know what you mean when it's hard to get out of your head!

This board has helped me a lot as well as calling the SA hotline when I feel bad.

Also I'm on a waiting list to see a SA therapist to help me heal from that as well as other SA. (to tell the truth I'm scared to go! But I know I need the help)

Hello everyone, I am a survivor of a SA many years ago. last week my husband and I were in a family therapy session and He brought up the fact that I had experienced unwanted sex. the therapist started asking general questions. No one has every asked me question after they found out. well every since them I have been re living the SA just like it just happened. I thought I had handled it well a long time ago but now just because he asked questions and labled it a rape I am having a hard time getting it out of my head.

Anyone have any suggestion.
