It's Been Awhile

Hi. I found this board about 5 years ago, and was a member for a few months. (a tough time, and this board was an incredible support) I ended up moving, and I didn't have the time to devote to my healing. after the move, I had two children. (their births were deeply affected by my past) and still did not find the time to come back. I just didn't want to confront it.

Finally, this past spring, my father (who may or may not have been my abuser) was arrested for possession of child porn. It opened up a lot of wounds.

Two days ago, my brother called me, and told me of his abuse. Now, I have to confront it. I can't hide anymore. I found myself wandering the internet, and somehow I ended up here.

Here I am. I don't know what to say. Yes, that's all I know to say, "here I am"
