hereforareason
hello, I am Deb and have been struggling with being abused for 49 years and I need help. Every so many years the memories come back and haunt me, sometimes I feel like giving up but know in my heart I am here for a reason and I need to conquer these feelings that i get. I was abused by my brother from birth to about 14 years of age. I was also abused by my dad from abaout 6 or 7 to about 14. I have had counseling many times and I go well for a couple of years then all of a sudden from nowhere I get the feelings again. And here I am to say what can I do. My husband and daughter know and only one of my friends know. I kinda dont like to have too many friends cause I dont want to have to tell them of this. I know its not my fault and have accepted that but darn it I need to get my life back on the right path. Thanks for listening Deb Link to post

I'm glad you've been through counseling. It sounds like you have come so far on your journey of healing. I admire that. We're here whenever you like and hang in there! Take gentle care. ♥, Sadie Link to post
