hello to everyone here. I am new here as of 1/2hr ago. i have always looked for a place to kinda ponder even talking about things that have happened to me. I guess this seems like a good place to be. Everything I have read has been very uplifting as far as the support goes. I am very unsure of computers, how to navigate , get where i need to be. so please forgive if I post something in the wrong area or if I dont respond right away.(i am probably trying to figure out the darn computer..lol) Also, i am not yet a big fan of spilling my guts out. I wish I was. it would make doing the right thing alot more easy for me. i look up to those of you who can spill it. maybe i will some day, slowly. I can state what has happened to me....i just cant speak details. its all very clear, but it blurs my mind somehow. So here I am...saying hi to all of you! I hope I can find alittle peace here. or atleast a support army!

Hi crftychk,

I'm glad you've joined After Silence. Most of the survivors I've talked to also find it extremely difficult to share details of their trauma. It's pretty common. :) Just remember that it's optional, and there is no pressure for you to share anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Hi and welcome :supportu: i'm the same when it comes to computers but I find this site is fairly easy to navigate around am sure you will get used to it soon enough. Take your time about posting your story there's no hurry. Everyone here will offer their support. I second Tuliptorn, i too will be your support soldier. Look forward to seeing you around Take care

Welcome to AS.

Sharing stories of pain is one of the hardest things i have ever done. I wish you luck and I just hope you remember that we all care, and are here to support you.

Welcome to AS :) Im glad you found us and your here with us :) you are amongst friends.I am most definitely not one to spill my guts either and its ok :) You can as little or as much as you want and still get validation and support and compassion here
