Hi there I'm new to this site, I'm glad I have finally found a site that may help in my healing. I'm a surviver of child sexual abuse, my abuser is a family member. I'm having a really hard time right now because he has decided to move closer to me. I have a wonderful husband who has been fairly supportive, but my past has really put our relationship through the test.

I look forward to reading everyone's posts.

I am really sorry for the things that led you here but I am glad that you found your way here to AS. There are so many great people here who will offer support and encouragement. Hi Jebby,

I'm glad you've joined After Silence. I'm also a survivor of CSA, and like many members here, can relate. I'm sorry to hear your abuser has moved closer to you and your husband. I would also feel unsettled with such knowledge.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone, yes I'm feeling very unsettled about this news, this is just to close for me. My only supporter is my husband, I feel very alone/hurt since my parents helped him move closer by buying his house for him. My mom says I need to forgive, forget, and move on. Their ultimate dream is to have him and me spend Christmas together it just isn't going to happen.
