Hi all, I am new here and this seemed like a good place to start. My name is Gina. I found this website a long time ago while searching for a support group in my neighborhood. I didn't join at that time because I didn't think that it could be helpful to me. I am hoping that i was wrong.I have been unable to find groups in my area and i so desperately need to connect with people who understand the things that I am going through. I look forward to "meeting" you all.

I'm glad you've joined After Silence. I've also considered joining a local support group, but after a few meetings, realized it wasn't for me. AS has been quite helpful and supportive for me, and I hope you find it to be the same for you. It helps to know you're not alone.
