I'm here because of sexual abuse and rape by my family when I went to live with them briefly, and because i'm not coping with my husband and son. I often feel very trapped and claustrophobic, even though my husband is very kind and understanding. I guess.. i'm looking for help, even though i'm very scared of reaching out.

It's understandable that you are nervous, hun, I'm sure we all relate to that feeling when first joining here. you are super courageous to post this! it is intense to write and say those words. i am very new, too. so far this is helping me to understand that so many other people feel the same way that i do. it is extremely validating. i'm so sorry about your experience. the best news is there is hope to heal.
