Welcome to the community. I am very sorry for what you went thru. Nobody has the right to hurt another, like you were hurt. You've found a supportive community. The members here are understanding and kind. You are not alone.

Nervous and unsure...I get that. Many of us do. It's not easy to do, trying something new, especially about something so personal and painful. Being vulnerable is not easy, but sometimes being vulnerable is the same as being strong. Either way, it's ok to take your time. Take everything at your own pace and know that we are here for you. 

Every step adds up. Reaching out is one of those steps. Be patient, as many more steps are likely to come. Continue trying and trust in yourself.
