_alley_cat_ Posted September 11 Share Posted September 11 i just joined my therapist thought it would be a good idea for me to find some kind of support group for my experiences, and so far i've failed to find a support group near me but i found this site. sometimes (most of the time) it seems like there's not a person on earth who can understand all the things i've been through, which have affected every single part of my life in every way, so i end up feeling like there is nowhere on this earth that i belong. i've made more progress than i could have ever imagined on my healing journey and yet every step reveals how much farther i have to go. im hoping support and connection can help me find the motivation to keep fighting. thanks for reading Link to post

Everyone here is also a survivor and while not everyone experiences exactly the same situations there will be people who can understand how difficult a healing journey like are on is. It's great that you want to keep on making progress and you are working with your therapist and reaching out to sites like AS for support!!! I am just one PM away. The trauma can indeed be a very lonely experience. You might still second guess yourself, feel vulnerable and struggle fining someone who can relate. After Silence offers a warm and including community of survivors. We all have unique stories, but some experiences are seemingly universal. You can come here to exchange support, advice or just vent out for a bit. Sometimes, it is nice to just let the words flow out. If you look at our forums index, you'll find that we have different forums for different purposes. Healing is a rocky road, but really the only option forward. You are not alone. We believe you. Hello! I just saw your reply and figured I'd give you a quick tutorial. Finchy is not getting a notification about your reply to them, because you either need to tag or quote them. I just quoted you, which you can see by the gray box above. You can either just press "Quote" or mark a specific part of the text and press "Quote". If you tag someone, you just go alt gr + 2 and find the member as you type in their name. @Finchy Okay, hope you'll have a nice day/night! Link to post

I play a ton of games, so currently I'm playing Afterimage, Lords of the Fallen (2023), Infinity Nikki, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, FF16...lol so yeah, I am playing a lot haha.
