Hello and welcome to AS, Violet! I'm glad you found your way here. I'm sorry for what you've experienced, though.  Just know that you are not alone. You'll find a lot of very kind and supportive people in this community. What type of music do you like? That's awesome you like to sing and dance, too! We have a thread for you to share your drawings if you'd like, too. It's...somewhere lol. I would have to search for it.  Anyhoo, welcome again. I wish you all the best on your healing journey!

I'm sorry for what you have been through. I find it is easier to talk on forums then out loud. Being here has helped me so much, even from the first time I ever posted. It is still helping me - I have so much support here and I know you will, as well. Here at AS, we are like a big family and our members are kind and non-judgemental.

Being a survivor can feel awfully lonely at times, why an online community can be a great way to expand your support system. Having a network of fellow survivors who can relate helps in many ways, and I hope this site will bring you that extra comfort that you deserve and need. 

Even though every survivor's story is different, we tend to relate to each other here. You sound like a creative soul, I enjoy singing and writing myself. 

Please let me know if I can be at any help. I was actually your age, when I first got here, and I've been here ever since.
