Sash410
Hi there! I found your board after receiving some resources from RAIIN. I had been looking for a support group since my incident in March. Lately it has been more important to find somewhere to talk about it as I lost my insurance so I'm no longer able to see my therapist about it. I've seen myself backslide quite a bit since then and has really come to a head this last week. So I really appreciate finding this group. Link to post

I am Wanna ' I am sorry to hear you cannot afford therapy. Many of us have been in that boat, and understand that having some form of extended support system can be crucial. You are invited to participate on your own terms - you decide what to share and when. You can talk about nearly anything here, really. If you've seen our forum's index, you may have noticed that we carry a wide span of forums. AS offers the chance to connect with fellow survivors, as we tend to relate to one another here. Please let me know if I can be helpful in any way. I'll send you some information, to get you started. All best, W ☀️ Link to post
MeBeMary
Hi Sash and welcome. I am very sorry for what happened to you in March. It was wrong and completely undeserved. I'm sorry this happened to you. I am glad on the other hand that RAINN directed you to us. This community is filled with many supportive and understanding members. You are not alone. It's awful when one looks for help and insurance is either inadequate or non-existent. My job is phasing out in a few months, so I will soon know how the non-existent insurance feels. Hoping it is a short-term thing for the both of us. Take your time and look around. We are happy to have you here. Wishing you many steps forward as you navigate the path of healing.
