Hi everyone! 

I'm looking for a community of survivors to help me through the tough days. Just looking for a place to feel safe and understood, especially with all the triggers in the news lately. I'm encouraged that these predators are being brought to justice (or something like it) but I'm feeling pretty helpless myself. Hoping I'm in the right place...

Welcome to AS. I am so sorry for the trauma you've experienced.  You will find that everyone here is friendly, supportive and there is no judgement at all. Your not alone here and many can relate.  Take your time to look around and best wishes on your healing journey.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for the trauma you have endured, but you have found a truly supportive site. Take your time and look over the site, I am sure you will be pleasantly reassured. I understand about what is going on in the media, and do so hope justice is served, but it can be hard to watch as well. It is never nice to that there are so many that have been hurt by these monsters. We are here for you. I wish you the best as you walk down your healing path.

Hi fraidyfreida and welcome to AS. You have definitely found a community of survivors, that are more then willing to help with the bad days, and even celebrate the good days. AS is a place full of genuine good people that are willing to listen and support. I'm proud of you for making your first post I know it can be difficult. Welcome to AS.
