Left for 3 years now I am back

Hello,

 

I found it all too much being on here and it actually caused me to get depressed as I started just reading people stories and I felt overwhelmed by the amount of people who have gone through trauma.

I feel like I can actually get some relief and feel less alone now by being on here.

Hi Milo.

Welcome back to the site. It can be very difficult to see and read so many stories, so I do understand where you are coming from. I haven't really taken a break, but sometimes I can go for a long stretches without reading or responding to what people post, except here in the Welcome forum. I guess that is how I managed to balance it, but you certainly are not the only one on the site to take breaks. You always need to do what is best for you, but I am glad you remembered we are here to welcome you back, as well. I wish you well as you continue your journey of healing.
