Finally reaching out

Hi I am new to this... (the site and the talking about it) After years of not talking about it, after years of trying not to deal with it, and  pretending everything was okay.  I am trying... to deal with it.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry that you have been hurt. Nobody has the right to hurt another this way. I understand about not dealing with it. Before I found AS, I lived in a life of denial and would not acknowledge that my struggles had anything to do with what happened to me. It is not easy reaching out, but you took that very big step. I acknowledge your courage in doing so. I do wish you the very best on this healing journey.
