Hi Everyone. I'm not really sure what to say here... except that it's been a few years for me but I didn't really acknowledge what happened to me as being sexual assault or anything like that... I could just really use a place to talk about these things and when I found this site it was like a blessing.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for the trauma that you have suffered, but know that you have found a very supportive site. I spent years (decades, actually) not dealing with my trauma either, but somehow it does seem to affect our lives so very much. I have found a voice here for the first time, and hope you are able to find one too. It is such a relief to find others who understand. I do wish you well on your healing journey.
