I recently met a new friend and she's been really amazing at letting me vent and helping me on this journey. She told me about this forum and now I'm even more grateful I was lucky enough to meet her because now I feel like I'm finding an entire welcome community that I can finally feel a part of without having to hide who I am. Without posting anything to triggering (I hope) I'll just say that I grew up experiencing longterm childhood incest by my father and then other individuals. My journey as a survivor has never seemed to match with how I've seen/read/heard others talk about abuse so
