  1. @CapuletOh no, I did my own therapy as no professional therapist had the knowledge to help me. I quite literally became my own counsellor :) Unfortunately professional therapy doesn't have the knowledge behind them to help imprisonment cases. I now educate the health system to better equip them if future cases emerge. Thank you for the warm welcome :)
  2. @MeBeMary Thank you so much for the warm welcome
  3. @WannaMoveOn I know of Natascha Kampusch, I remember the public giving her a hard time because she came over as "Emotionless". Which couldn't have been further from the truth, she's one of the most determined people I have seen next to myself. Especially given her age and situation in which she publicly addressed everything that happened, she's always been very courageous. @Finchy I am glad too! ♥ x

Little about my experience: I am an ex imprisonment case of thirty-five years, the first in the UK and Ireland and the longest on record. My perpetrator (Father - Deceased) kept me imprisoned from the age of four years old to thirty-five in which I escaped and managed to save my mother as well from his tyrannical cruelty. Although I do not count myself as a victim, because I will never allow him to have that power over me. Unf
