I'm pretty new to this platform and just looking to meet new people who can relate and I can vent to. I am going to have to check out this book it sounds interesting and has some helpful information. Thank you for this post, I know it's not easy being put in your situation and you are so brave. I can speak from experience that EMDR at least if you really allow yourself to fall into your past, can be really scary, I am currently in the process of it but it takes multiple sessions. I will have to update you on how it goes.
