  19. Hi @Little Bo-Peep I'm sorry for what happened you. You did not deserve to be treated in that way. But I'm glad you found the site and are able to connect with others to get support. All of us on staff are volunteers. Some staff members happen to be going to school for or have a background counseling or social work, but most of us do not. We really are all just survivors that want to give back to a site that has helped us so much.
  20. Anyone else feel overwhelmed by "Giving Tuesday?" Like I am getting bombarded with emails and I want to help, but I can only give so much. It makes me feel guilty and selfish.

      I like to 'give' via amazon charities, that way its not 'cash' but an actual item(s) the charity requested.  I favour charities that help children but thats just me, I also like charities that focus on literacy.  I have a very small amount set aside each month that I use for this purpose.  Thank you grocery store for 2x and 4x fuel points on gift cards- i buy amazon gc for all my amazon needs!
