  1. Tomorrow is my 11th trauma-anniversary. It's hard to believe. Some days it feels like just yesterday, but I'm proud of all I have accomplished since then.

  3. My T told me they are leaving the practice in a few weeks. This is going to be the third time I'm changing T's since I started at the practice several years ago. It's always hard to start over.

      Thanks all. The appointment went well. The PT was very good at explaining things and making me feel comfortable. I'm going back this week.

  8. Stepping down from the newbie support team. My life has gotten busier and I no longer have the time to dedicate to being an active member of the team. It has been an honor being a part of the AS staff these past few years. I'll still be hanging around the site though.

I'm happy to hear that you are seeing a therapist and talking through things with them. Trauma memories can be very confusing because our brains don't always know how to handle those situations. They try to keep us safe and that can mean that memories can get locked away and reappear years later. Please know that you are not crazy, and that many trauma survivors go through a similar process.
