I tend to stick with realistic fiction (a la Ellen Hopkins) or mystery (Sammy Keyes) But LOVE Percy Jackson and Maximum Ride. Lately, I've been reading abuse surivivor and related books - Toxic Parents by Susan Forward, Will I Ever Be Good Enough: Healing for Daughters of Narcisstic Mothers by Karyl McBride, etc. I'm so glad to see such an active forum for us <3 These diagnosis suck - I've been able to managed my depression, it's the other two kicking me down right now. Hello, everyone! I'm so glad I found this place - all the other survivor forums were very inactive... Um, I go by KJ on the internet. I'm 19, and a lover of all things psychology. I love writing, reading and painting. I used to love performing on a stage, singing and dancing but haven't been able to do that for a while. I'm diagnosed with depression, anxiety and PTSD. I've been in counseling for a couple of years. I thought it was time for me to find a safe place for deeper healing and discussion of the deeper issues. I'm excited to meet everyone and post things and read helpful things.
