Bloodstone brings courage when you didnt think you had any. Gave me strength to stand up to people, to carry on with daily tasks when i had no energy, and helped me speak in court. Roman soldiers used to wear this and now I see why, it gives you a feeling that you can tackle anything. Not a gentle stone, but really motivated you to get things done.
