Hey guys so I'm new on here obviously, and I wanted to know....how do you keep track of the things you post and how can you easily see if someone responded? I posted something early today and I have to scroll through a bunch of posts to see if someone responded. Or if I post a reply somewhere then I have to go back and check that one later to see if someone else said something....if I even remember where I responded. Is there some notification I am missing? Like on facebook when it does that haha (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) if you have any suggestions can you PM me so i will actually find your response haha thanks so much!

If you click on your name in this or any post you make it will give you a drop down box and there it says view members posts and view members topics - clicking these will then give you access to all your posts
hope that helps? karen |

Kinda like riding a bicycle.....we fumble around and eventually we get it. I understand. I was new to forum and just wandered all over the place at first. You'll catch on.
Good advice, Karen! Jeannie |

Hi Shelly,
Welcome to Aftersilence. Guess what? I'm here to answer questions like that! When you are posting or replying to a post at the end of your post you have the option of selecting "enable email notification of replies". That is one way of keeping track and if at anytime you don't want to receive notifications of any post then you have to click on My controls at the top of the page under the AfterSilence heading, and from there you can choose to disable them for one or all of your posts you signed up to do that. Let me know if that helps:) Mandy |
