Hi there,
I am new to this forum and have to admit, this is the first time I have searched for a support group. But I really hope that this will be a step forward. I have been through therapy with a counsellor who specialised in sexual abuse and since then, have thankfully being able to carry on with my life contently. But I'm finding that this is a continuous journey to recovery. Hopefully through this forum, that recovery process can strengthen.

Welcome to the board... This was the first support group that I sought out as well, and I'm obsessed with it!! I think it's such a great place for us all, and am soo relieved that I found both the board, and the courage to join. Hopefully you'll appreciate it as much as I do.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I still have a very long way to go before I can say that I am truly past all of the ordeals that myself and all of you have experienced yourselves. Just when you think you are there, another hurdle comes up.

Welcome =) I've been through alot of help of consluers in the past they screwed with my mind and made me believe it was my fault but now that I have a love of my boyfriend and his mother and of course this site I know that I will recover and I defaintly know that you will as well. Good Luck keep fighting the good fight
