Hi
Just wanted to let someone know that I was trying to change my avatar this afternoon and it kept saying, error: upload failed, please contact an administrator.
At first I thought it was the pic I'd wanted, but its done it with all of them, including the one I was changing it from when I tried to return to it.
thanks for any help you can offer, don't worry, not urgent!

Sometimes refreshing your browser after you update can help. I know I have had problems changing mine before. It could also be due to the board move, though Vera and LIndy would know for sure.
Could the avatar you are using be a gif file? We don't allow those as gif files can be animated and animated avatars slow the loading of the board for those with slower connections.

I think it could be the move, I had similar thing just now when I went to change my personal photo ..

I've had problems with it before, like you've described, but this is giving me a different message than it has before, about upload failed. And the pic definitely isn't gif. I guess it is a glitch but I'm not worried about it, just letting someone know!

you mean the one in negative with the tear running down her face?
I guess I thought it was really morbid and no one liked it and it might freak them out! i don't know if it seems like 'me' and whether it makes people wary of me because of it!

I can't upload an avatar as well. At first I thought it was because I'm new to all this but since other people have had this problem maybe it's nit just me. Any help would be great.
