I went to post a gif file in the share your story section (it is a picture with writing with my story) and it only allowed me to get it from a url link. Is there any way to be able to upload it without a url link - ie a browse on you computer button?

Thanks

I believe that GIF files were disable for the board to control the problem we have had with users having animated avatars, those tend to be GIF files.

Vera or Lindy will have to confirm that one for you though. smile.gif

I've asked the same question. I spoke to Vera and it was started for the avatars because the animated ones take up too much space and makes the pages hard to load, but it also applies to the rest of the board cause anything animated will slow down the viewing of the pages and they just want the board to run as fast as possible for everyone. smile.gif yay!!
