I like this site.....just wanted to say hellloooo!
I am a facilitator of healing for survivors of sexual abuse. I do hands on bodywork and find that, to my surprise, most of the people that come to me have been abused.... I'm not sure if this is true for other facilitators of healing. Are the statistics this inaccurate???
Anyway, I've heard things from clients that have given me nightmares. But you know what ? People heal and get better, it takes time but it happens.....
I wanted to find a site where people are ready to talk about this openly, its such a difficult thing to recover from. And where I can add something useful to what is being spoken of here.....
Love to you all

Bodywork is a technique of contactful touch that gradually can rebuild the physical boundaries that are shattered with abuse. I help people by encouraging them to not leave their body or numb it out as a way to cope. Both of these responses are involuntary and survival mechanisms for abuse. Bodywork evetually rebuilds a physical sense of well-being and teaches out body to let down again. P::

Do you have a website or a place where someone could learn more about this technique?
