I wiill try this again...I am nearly 50 my abuse happened over 40 years ago...I have never given it it's due. never held voice to it's harm, it's taking of my entire childhoodand making it a horror instead of the wonderful peaceful place chilhood should be.

I come from a family of drink, dad dead of it when I was 4 . Mom leaving me alone to go down the street to the bar. A little girl should be tucked in to bed at night and told bedtime stories not left alone. *Monster Men* come knocking at the door and Push their way in. The *Monster Man* did nasty mean things.How dare he do that! He had no right! I DO NOT own that! I have no shame in it, it is all on Him!And poor Mother who truly didn't know any better,should have but didn't. Even then I was a good little enabler and didn't *bother* her with the tale of *Monster Man* I never knew who he was so there is no way to confront him in person. Besides he is probably dead by now.

That's it for now. I am here becouse I will no longer carry this in silance! No need, there are places to go like this, places where little girls can tell and someone will listen and believe and most of all care.

Yes it isn't a group one wants to be apart of is it.At least not for the reason. But a part of it we are and I just feel the need to help in some way and to give that sweet little girl I was, who lost her childhood, a chance to be heard and loved. Places like this do just that. Thanks for the welcome.
