  1. I called my best friend in New Zealand. We're in touch by email constantly, but it's the first time we've actually spoken in nearly a year!
  2. Hi and welcome to AS! I'm sorry you have a reason to be here at all, but this is a wonderful, supportive community of people who will always understand where you're coming from. I hope you find what you're looking for here. PS-I also think you're English is excellent.
  3. Welcome! People here are just lovely. I hope you find what you're looking for here.

  5. Hi and welcome. You've got nothing to be ashamed of. It was absolutely not your fault and you should never have been made to feel that way. You should feel proud that you're dealing with it and healing now. Mine was just about six months ago. You're not alone here.

    Hi

Hello and welcome. It's good that you're trying to get some help. I imagine you're doctor is as good a place to start as any, especially if you haven't been to one. You may not even have to broach the subject yourself, as you'll probably have to answer a bunch of questions about your health and your history. But you will have to brace yourself to actually say it when the time comes. You might also try looking for a crisis center in your area. The yellow pages or a google search will help you find one. Or your doctor may be able to refer you. Good luck! I hope you find what you're l
  10. Welcome! Good to have you here!
  11. Hi and welcome, Cathy. Take your time and look around. No need to rush yourself into sharing. When I first stumbled across this site, I couldn't even bring myself to register for 5 months. Just that you're here and you're looking for a place to start is a big step. It's a start in itself. I hope you find the support you need.
  12. Thanks so much for the warm welcome!
  13. After I was abducted by a taxi driver: "Well, why did you get in the car?" Ummm.....TAXI!
  14. Hi! I just found this site a few days ago. Had to get some stuff off my chest and forgot to say hello. So now I want to say hello and also how glad I am that I found this sight. I'd been lamenting for months that I had nobody to talk to who could understand what I was going through and now I have a whole community. Even if it's a whole community of people with no faces, they've already helped me out more than I can say just by being here. THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!! Oops...I mean "site."
